Responsibilities of the President
The duties of the Classical Studies Club President, according to article III section 1 of the constitution, are as follows:
"The President of the club should preside over all monthly meetings. They will also be responsible for guiding the other officers and instructing them in their duties. They should maintain close communication with the faculty advisor. They should be responsible for planning and organizing all the events of the Classical Studies Club and communicating appropriately with all officers."
The President should act as the face of the club. External communications and negotiations typically go through them. They should delegate responsibilities to their officers and be willing to take on responsibilities of their own and start their own initiatives to boost the club as a whole. The President is also responsible for planning all general body meetings, including securing a venue and preparing club activities.
